Murray Carter, Peter Sargent, and Allan Strange Named to Financial Times “FT 400” List of Top U.S. Financial Advisors

PHILADELPHIA – April 18, 2019 – Three Financial Advisors from Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, financial services, and investment banking firm, have been named to the Financial Times 2019 list of Top 400 Financial Advisors. The advisors named from Janney are Murray Carter, Peter Sargent, and Allan Strange.

The list recognizes the top financial advisors at national, independent, regional, and bank broker-dealers from across the U.S. The annual FT 400 list is produced independently by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides business intelligence on investment management.

“Murray, Peter, Allan embody our mission in being the highest standard of success in financial relationships,” said Jerry Lombard, president of the firm’s Private Client Group. “This prestigious recognition is a testament to their client dedication and in establishing successful and thriving practices by providing superior financial advice and guidance.”

The formula used by the Financial Times to select the top 400 advisors is based on several factors including assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, and online accessibility. In addition, to be considered for the FT 400 list, advisors must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience and at least $300 million in assets under management. The final FT 400 represents an impressive cohort of elite advisors.
