Janney’s Sheila Shaffer Named to Forbes 2018 list of America’s Top Women Advisors

Congratulations to Sheila S. Shaffer, CFP®, Executive Vice President / Wealth Management, Shaffer Wealth Advisory Group, for being named to Forbes’ 2018 ranking of America’s Top Women Advisors.

This prestigious list includes 250 of the nation’s standout financial strategists with at least seven years of experience, who manage more than $240 billion in client assets. Nominated by their firms, each advisor on the list was researched, interviewed, and assigned a nationwide ranking.

The Forbes ranking of America’s Top Women Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative data, rating thousands of wealth advisors and weighing factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and best practices learned through telephone and in-person interviews. SHOOK received more than 22,000 nominations for the 2018 list.

This is the second time that Sheila has been named to the list. Her previous accolades include being named a Best-in-State Wealth Advisor by Forbes in 2018, and recognition from the Financial Times in its 2014, 2015, and 2017 lists of Top 400 Financial Advisors, as well as the publication’s 2014 list of Top 100 Women Advisors. In 2016, Shaffer was named Janney’s Financial Advisor of the Year.

“I am extremely proud of Sheila for representing Janney on this prestigious list for the second year in a row,” said Jerry Lombard, president of the Firm’s Private Client Group. “The women on this list are leading the way in offering best practices and providing a high-quality experience for clients. The honor is a true testament to Sheila’s hard work and unwavering dedication to her clients.”
